That’s a Wrap on the 2015 New Egypt Speedway Season

Mid Atlantic Championship Weekend Cancelled

New Egypt, NJ–                               With the conclusion of New Egypt Speedway’s third annual All Star Cup event this past weekend, the 2015 racing season has officially come to an end. The Mid Atlantic Championship Weekend that was schedule for October 30th and 31st at the Speedway has been cancelled.

“We have some work that needs to be done to the track before the predicted harsh winter sets in,” said General Manager Allyse Wolfinger. “We need that to be able to settle so we can be ready to kick off the 2016 on time. So unfortunately we had to cancel our last race weekend.”

The Mid Atlantic Championship Weekend was set to be a collaboration with Short Track Super Series promoter Brett Deyo. Deyo is expected to again bring his very successful Dirty Jersey event to New Egypt Speedway for the 2016 season.

New Egypt Speedway will now begin to focus on building the 2016 season schedule as well as putting together their annual awards banquet. As soon as details for the banquet are finalized they will be posted to the track’s website www.newegyptspeedway.net. The 2016 season schedule will be released ahead of the annual PPB Motorsport Expo in January. The Speedway will host its annual winter Swap Meet on Saturday, December 5th with a rain date of Sunday, December 6th.
