RUSH 2
410 SPRINTS & MODIFIEDS GEAR UP FOR HUGE
DOUBLEHEADER
AT NEW EGYPT

New Egypt, NJ (August 5, 2012)
– Get ready, the JERSEY RUSH 2 is returning to the New Egypt
Speedway.
It only happens once a year and
Tuesday night, August 21 will mark the return of the 410 Sprints and
Modifieds in a spectacular double-header. The talent will be plentiful
for this event as the stars of the 410 sprints return to the New Egypt
Speedway. Greg Hodnett, Lance Dewease, Fred Rahmer, Daryn Pittman, Niki
Young, Brent Marks are just some of big name 410 sprint drivers already
entered. Local New Jersey 410 sprint drivers also planning to take part
include Frank Cozze, Davey Sammons, Tim Tanner, Mark Bitner and URC
point leader Robbie Stillwaggon. Modified entries include Ryan Godown,
Willie Osmun, Ron John Koczon, Sammy Martz, Billy Pauch, Billy
Pauch Jr, Rick Laubach, Jimmy Horton, Neal Williams and Dominick
Buffalino just to name a few.
If pre-entered,
the winner of the 30 lap Jersey Rush 2 for 410 sprints will earn $5,000.
For the modifieds, $3,000 will go to the winner of their 30 lap feature
event. In the event of rain, Wednesday night, August 22 will be the rain
date for the Jersey Rush 2 with gates opening at 5 PM and race time set
for 7:30 PM.
Time trials
will open the racing program at 7:30 PM followed by heat race qualifying
for both the 410 sprints and modifieds along with a last chance
qualifier if needed. The 30 lap 410 Sprint feature and the 30 lap
Modified feature will highlight the racing program. Followed.
The sprint
payoff will attract the best 410 sprint drivers with the $5,000 first
place prize, $1,000 for tenth, $515 for 15th and $400 will be paid just
to take the green flag. Drivers are encouraged to pre-enter. The entry
fee is $50 and that includes three pit passes. For an entry form, please

Race fans that
would like advance tickets should call Donna Miller at 443 513 4456 and
be sure to leave your name and the number of tickets you need. You may
pay for and pick-up your tickets on race night any time after 4 PM.
Adult admission tickets are $30, Children 6-11 $10, Children five and
under Free. The pit fee is $35 and a license is not required.
Also returning
as part of the Jersey Rush 2 will be the Pre-Race FanFest, when race
fans are welcome to enter the pit area (5 PM to 6 PM) to view the cars
and meet their favorite 410 sprint drivers and modified drivers.
The Jersey Rush
2 is a co-promotion between Lenny, Danny and Davey Sammons and special
events organizer Bob Miller.

A Driver & Crew
Meet & Greet is being planned by race organizers for fans to get an up
close look at the drivers, crews and cars. The Meet & Greet will take
place from 5-6 PM. The gate from Victory Lane (behind the turn four
seating) to the pit area will open to allow spectators to go pit side
for one hour prior to the start of the show.
