Rocktoberfest Rules

 

New Egypt, NJ (Sept. 26, 2008) -  Rocktoberfest Rules for Saturday and Sunday, October 4th and October 5th.

 

General Rules Modifieds:

Big Blocks-$5,000 to win

Any cast iron block-Any cast iron or aluminum cylinder heads-Any bore and stroke combination.

Maximum cubic inches 467-Any compression ratio.

(1) 4bbl carburetor.

Racing gasoline only with no additives.

Any American Racer Dirt modified 92" tire with either a 44 or 48(RR) compound.

No LM or special tires.

All cars must conform to NES body and chassis rules as per NES 2008 online rule book.

Minimum weight 2500lb with driver after completion of all qualifying races and feature event.

 

Small Blocks-$4,000 to win

Any cast iron block.

Any cast iron or aluminum cylinder heads-Any bore and stroke combination. Maximum cubic inches 362-Any compression ratio.

(1) 4bbl carburetor.

Racing gasoline or alcohol only with no additives.

Any American Racer Dirt modified 92" tire with either a 44 or 48(RR) compound.

No LM or special tires.

All cars must conform to NES body and chassis rules as per NES 2008 online rule book.

Minimum weight 2400lb with driver at completion of all qualifying races and feature event.

 

Both Small & Big Blocks

Draw for Heats.

Top 15 to 18 redraw depending on # of heats.

24-26 cars to start.

40 Green Flag Laps Feature.

 

Crate-1, Sportsman and Super Stocks-NES rules apply.

Tires-Any Stamped American Racer Dirt modified 92” tire with either a 44 or 48(RR) compound.

 

SS Sprints-NES rules apply (Pennsylvania Super Sportsman tires allowed).
