The 4th annual firecracker 40 will be our grand opening for the 2020 season! 40 laps Vahlco Wheels Modifieds + Larry's Hot Rods & Harley's/The Meat Shoppe Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Ice Less LLC Crate Modifieds, Mike's Performance Center 4-Cylinders & Rookies! We also welcome everyone to stay for our fireworks display following the races! Pit gates will open at 4PM, grandstand gates at 5PM, hot laps beginning at 6PM, and racing at 7PM. Grandstand Admission: Adults (16+)-$25, Seniors (65+)-$18, Teens (12-15)-$11, kids 11 & under are FREE!
*As per Executive Order 157- New Egypt Speedway requires that all patrons must remain six feet of spacing in all commonly used and other applicable areas or where people may form a line*
New Egypt Speedway will be hosting a second open practice session SATURDAY, JUNE 27th. Pit gates will open at 1:00pm with racing beginning at 3:00 pm. Practice will be open to all interested teams with pit fees being $30.
Due to social distancing guidelines and the Governor's executive order, **THIS WILL BE A NO FANS EVENT!!** The speedway will only be permitted to sell pit passes for drivers and crew members in order to enter the facility.

We are taking precautionary measures to ensure a safe environment for fans, participants and employees as we make the return to racing. If you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and/or are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home. The safety of our fans, track employees, and the drivers remains our top priority.
COVID Procedures: All participants, team members Car owners, etc must maintain safe social distancing at a minimum of 6ft apart (unless they live in the same household). All race cars must have 6ft spacing between each them. It is highly recommended to wear masks when at the facility, as per the state police of New Jersey. Seating is available and we have marked seats 6 feet apart with proper markings. Please maintain proper social distancing at all times.
With the extension of the social distancing guidelines for another 30 days put in place by the NJ government officials, New Egypt Speedway will cancel all scheduled events for the month of May.
Although we were looking forward to getting this season underway, we respect the decision made by our Governor to prohibit large public gatherings.
The health and safety of our staff, fans, the race teams and their families take priority in this matter. We will continue to update any changes as they are made available to us.
New Egypt, NJ – Things are starting to take shape for the 3rd Annual Legends of the Fall 75 at New Egypt Speedway on Saturday, October 5th. The 75 lap Big Block vs. Small Block Modified main event that will pay $7,500 to the winner, $1,000 for 10th and $500 just to start the feature.
The first of many contingency bonuses that will be available have started to roll in for the event. The 5th place finisher in the Modified feature on October 5th will receive $400 towards the purchase of a new fuel cell courtesy of ATL Fuel Cells. Vahlco Wheels has put up a $50 Gift Certificate to the 4th place finisher in the Modified feature. American Racer/Lias Tire will again present the Burning Rubber/Hard Charger award. The driver who advances the most positions during the Modified feature will receive a free tire courtesy of American Racer & Lias Tire. More bonuses and contingencies will be announced as they become available.

A who’s who in Modified racing from all over the region is expected to be in attendance on October 5th at New Egypt Speedway. Expected invaders include former New Egypt Speedway track champions Frank Cozze and Jimmy Horton, past NES winners Jeff Strunk, Duane Howard, Danny Creeden, Dominick Buffalino and Richie Pratt Jr. and perennial contenders are expected in Andy Bachetti, Mike Gular and young-gun Alex Yankowski plus many, many more!
They will be all be gunning after NES weekly campaigners David VanHorn, Billy Pauch Jr., Danny Bouc, Brandon Grosso, Mike Butler, Ryan Krachun and a host of others!
The Crate vs. Sportsman will complete the racing card on the 5th with a 25-lap main event that will pay $1,000 to the winner and $100 to start.
Pits and Grandstands will open at 3PM, Hot Laps are scheduled for 5PM with the first green flag of the evening flying at 6PM! Adult admission (16+) is $28, Seniors (65+) are $25, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $18 with Kids 11 & Under being FREE! Pit admission will be $40. Event entry blanks and race information will be on the New Egypt Speedway website in the coming days.
